Choosing your Surgeon
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit”
Inspired by his mentors to aspire to excellence in both clinical care and academic heights, Dr Farhadieh has consistently sought and delivered excellence in the spheres of clinical surgical care and academia. He has been internationally recognised for his clinical expertise, qualifications and academic standing. Dr Farhadieh has been extensively published in the scientific literature over the last 17 years and has recently been the chief editor and a contributing author of a major comprehensive global plastic surgery textbook bringing together 130 of world’s leading authorities for the compendium. He is globally unique in holding plastic surgery qualification fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic Surgery. In addition he holds multiple formal clinical fellowships in cosmetic, paediatric and microsurgery from world leading centres, London, England.
Dr Farhadieh believes it is important that you seek the highest level of plastic surgery training and postoperative care from your surgeon.
“After all your body, is your only and most permanent asset in life”
It’s too precious to be left to chance or to an inadequately trained pair of hands.
We at Panthea Clinics are strong advocates for patients seeking advice from plastic surgeons with formal surgical training. The only body in Australia that provides internationally recognised plastic surgery training is the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Fellows of the College are signified with FRACS(Plast) and hold membership of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). This indicates, on average, 8 years of surgical postgraduate training after medical school.
We believe beyond standard plastic surgery training, that formal cosmetic surgery training is vital in delivering the highest levels of outcome and care. This is achieved through formal cosmetic (aesthetic) fellowships at subspecialist centres. You should inquire about your surgeon’s qualification and training prior to making any decisions, this can sometimes be challenging in the era of social media and advertisement. At Panthea, with Dr Farhadieh and his staff you are in the safest and highest qualified hands.
