“The commitment to surgical excellence is a road paved with the utmost dedication to patient welfare, personal sacrifice and humility in practicing the art of surgery. The trust and understanding established during consultations forms the basis of a successful outcome.”

He learnt this philosophy early on from his senior mentors. His approach to patients is based on basic principles: a personal understanding of the patient’s needs and desires, and the promise to see the patients through every step of the journey. This has crystallised his motto for his clinic: Service, Form & Harmony (Officium, Forma & Concordia).

He has had a strong commitment to academic research and teaching throughout his career, completing both an undergraduate BSc(Med)Hons, as well as postgraduate (MD), full time research degrees at UNSW. He has authored multiple international, clinical, and scientific articles, as well as several plastic surgery textbook chapters on the topics of breast cosmetic surgery, facial aesthetic surgery as well as head & neck reconstruction. He also continues to act as a peer reviewer to international scientific journals, contributes to scientific committees at international conferences, and has regularly presented his work at national and international plastic surgery conferences over the last 18 years.

“In the international arena his contributions have garnered wide peer recognition, and a rapidly growing reputation as a leader in the field of plastic surgery.”
